Omega North, Warrington

The 3.25-acre site formed the final plot within the Omega North development and will the new headquarters for Haydock Commercial Vehicles, a franchise of Scania (Great Britain) Ltd. We designed a purpose-built HGV service centre depot and head office for our Client, in a prominent location, overlooking the M62.

The development creates 9 state of the art workshop bays, including 1 drive through ATF bay and a dedicated gas bay with the potential for future expansion of bays designed into the layout. The site layout provides the separation of cars and trucks to ensure the safety of visitors and staff with a prominent truck retail area overlooking the road. The workshop doors have been positioned on the rear of the building away from the prevailing winds from the motorway, creating a secure compound. The building externals feature Scania’s two-tone signature cladding in dark and light grey to signify the office area and the workshop area, with large, glazed sectional doors and roof lights to flood the service centre with natural light.
