Hall Street, St Helens
48 no. 2 bedroom Apartments for the Private Rented Sector
Built on a small site in St Helens overlooking a new development of apartments on the opposite side of the road the apartments needed to be angled to reduce the opportunity of overlooking.
The saw tooth façade allowed the introduction of triangular shaped external balconies for every apartment.
The solid sandstone base lifted the apartments from the street level and provided the space to incorporate a car park servicing the apartments. The use of timber frame and rain screen cladding allowed a quick build and crisp lines.
