This bespoke 72-bedroom care home has been designed for Tanglewood Care Services and will be built by Torsion Construction in Humberston, a village and civil parish south of Cleethorpes in North East Lincolnshire. The proposed care home will provide high quality, 24-hour, nursing & specialist dementia care for elderly people with a range of complex needs. The scheme is two storeys in height, which is consistent with the neighbouring community hub/ apartments and properties on Glebe Road. The two wings are connected by a central core which houses, the reception, admin office, hair & beauty salon, garden room, kitchen, laundry, visitors’ suite, cinema, tearoom, games room and plant room. The use of materials corresponds to the traditional architectural design within the surrounding area, the main body of the building comprises of red brickwork and red roof coverings which is interspersed with render to help break up the overall mass; providing the variety that is evident in the area.

The delivery of Fosse Way View has been the result of the best across-the-board teamwork effort that I have ever experienced, despite the challenges of the pandemic.

Fosse Way View has been beautifully thought out with a lot of attention to details such as the spa bathrooms with the twinkling ceilings, balconies overlooking the gardens and a beautiful bar area in the reception area where people can meet to sit and socialise with their families.
